Champs d’intérêt

Le programme de recherche de la Dre Elham Emami est multi et interdisciplinaire, voué à générer de nouvelles données qui permettront de capter le rôle de la santé bucco-dentaire au niveau du bien-être global des individus et des enjeux de la santé publique. Ce programme a pour but ultime de promouvoir la santé publique en diminuant le fardeau d’une santé bucco-dentaire défaillante au niveau québécois et canadien.

Les recherches de la Dre Emami portent principalement sur les axes de recherche suivants :

• Investiguer les disparités sociales quant à l’accès aux soins bucco-dentaires, avec emphase particulière sur les zones rurales du Québec;

• Élucider l’impact de la santé bucco-dentaire sur la santé générale;

• Évaluer l’efficacité des interventions adaptives prothétiques chez les individus édentés;

• Le transfert des connaissances : revue systématiques, méta-analyses et développement des outils de transfert des connaissances.
